From Rags to ...

If there's one thing I love it's DIY projects! I never have to the time to actually do them or even complete the ones I've started. Yet I'm always spotting something to do and get busy with.

Some of my favorite DIY blogs are PS I Made This, A Pair and a Spare DIY, and various posts I find on *whispers* Tumblr.

Anyways, I just started to check what is months of piled up blog posts on Google Reader and spotted this DIY by A Pair and a Spare, which turns a pretty grandma looking dress into a cute lil' mini that looks like it came from Urban!

This looks like a pretty simple DIY to do: find a similar dress of your mothers, or get one from your local vintage or thrift store and get to doing!

Hey!

It's been forever since I've posted!

Honestly, this has been a really bad year for me: I was supposed to be my year! The year I graduate and start to move on to better things for my life. But nothing of that sort has been happening for me. I'm upset, tired and worn out, I don't know what I'm doing right now, and I'm not sure when things are gonna get better for me. But, why not add some sparkle to my life by blogging?!

I am back, and I am looking all over for inspiration and things to share. Stay tuned :)

It's Just Sex. No Emotions.

It seems as if there is a growing turnout of films such as Friends with Benefits and No Strings Attached coming out, which play on the friends with benefits, 'it's just sex' type of lifestyle that some people live. I think this FWB lifestyle is becoming an increasingly growing phenom, with more and more men AND women not wanting to be in actual relationships. They just want someone to fuck, maybe cuddle with, and will go home afterwards. Basically no strings attached, an agreement of not seeking a relationship.

Now. I don't participate in these this type of behavior/relationship [I'm not sexually active], and even though it's my blog and I say what I want, I'm not necessarily here to condemn anyone who has FWBs. Personally, I believe that this isn't a good lifestyle. And with all these films coming out, which glorify this topic, what does it say about our culture? Is it saying that we cannot as a people deal with monogamous relationships? After look at the divorce rate in the country! What does this also possibly say us other than our love lives? Can it also say that the Americans do not believe in meaningful relationships; as in how does this play out politically and otherwise? How is it that the world views us?

Aston Mozie SS 2012

Bloggers Quinn Aston and Ugo Mozie have upgraded their style blogging talents to a luxe dinner jacket line.

I have to say that I'm impressed and like what I see.

Thanks to One Nigerian Boy for these pics.

I think the jackets look pretty good. My faves are the white with gold button, the orange, and the black. They're pretty classic. Although my one issue is the small fit look. I'm not always all for that look, it looks uncomfortable to wear, and just looks small.

All in all, good collection. I hope to see more from the AstonMozie duo.

What's better than a boob job?

Why Thai 'breast-slapping", of course!

I stumbled across this video clip in an article on DailyMail about this natural Thai beauty treatment, and I found it VERY interesting.

There are the breast-slapping, butt-slapping, and face-slapping methods, which are supposed to naturally enhance these given body areas by toning and enlarging by simply moving fat. And after a couple sessions, you'll see improvements.

Just watch the video >>>

Training course to learn this treatment will cost you a few pretty pennies, but I'm sure that getting the treatment itself will probably cost you considerably LESS than the average breast enlargement, face lift, or fat transfer.

So where can someone sign me up?!?! I definitely need her to move the fat towards my derriere. . .

What I Want is What I Need

Stumbled across this cute bracelet on Fashionlista.

It's a combo of glitz and casual with the rope and cubic zirconia. Just my kind of thing! I like glamorous things, but not always showy and flashy. And then I like to be casual most times, so this is right in my lane.

Sad thing is: it's no longer on ASOS' site : ( It'd be great to find it though.
