It's an Addiction
Just peeped these two pieces from Thakoon Addition on the Satine Boutique site.
I love, love, love! I really do love maxi skirts, and dresses. They're always cute, and can help hide thegood, bad and ugly that I don't wanna show. Ie, if they're aren't a bodycon maxi :)
I really love the print of the the skirt. It's so light, and reminds me of going somewhere to an island or somewhere exotic like Santorini ^_^ on holiday!
As for damage, the Slit Maxi Skirt will get you for 390$ and the Ruffle Dress for 650$.
I like how they styled the skirt for the home page.
Utility boots, a floral maxi, and a tee = yes please! Would be a cute 'fit for a chill day, shopping, sitting outside at cafes, and thrifting in L.A. ;)

Aston Mozie SS 2012
Bloggers Quinn Aston and Ugo Mozie have upgraded their style blogging talents to a luxe dinner jacket line.
I have to say that I'm impressed and like what I see.
Thanks to One Nigerian Boy for these pics.
I think the jackets look pretty good. My faves are the white with gold button, the orange, and the black. They're pretty classic. Although my one issue is the small fit look. I'm not always all for that look, it looks uncomfortable to wear, and just looks small.
All in all, good collection. I hope to see more from the AstonMozie duo.

Back to Maxi
Back once again, and appearing more and more on the runway and fashion trends for 2011 is the maxi skirt!!
This is one of my fave trends! [Yes, I do like to show some skin every now & then.] And I'm glad it's making a comeback this year, because last year it wasn't very very popular..
How to wear it: Pair it with a loose fitting tee/top/sweater and an extreme wedge! I've also worn a maxi dress in a tomboy-ish style with Chucks, a plaid shirt tied at the waist, and a beanie! And I like to wear a maxi skirt with a close fitting sheer turtleneck, a sweater vest, and black lace up booties!

Balmain SS '11
I think I should just come out with it. Balmain has to be my fave designer!
I may not have the money for Balmain just yet, but I can admire from a distance : )
Last year, Decarnin gave it with the military trend, and this year, he's def giving it to Rock 'n' Roll. Who dares challenge him.

Fall Trends Alert!!!!!
So i got a email from UO about the Fall 2010 trends!
According to UO, this fall's trend include:
*Don't forget surplus tops/shirts, dresses, skirts, pants, and bags.
[I'm loving the Prada peeptoe, leopard & olive Miu Miu's, and Jeff. Campbell's, Fendi peeptoe, and Dolce Vita platform oxfords!]

Bird by Juicy Couture
New line by Juicy Couture, according to my Shopbop emails, called Bird by Juicy Couture.
Normally I prob'ly wouldn't care but I was digging the knickers used in one of the outfits in the email: Cashmere pants with suspenders.
I think they were worn well :)
