Back to Maxi

Back once again, and appearing more and more on the runway and fashion trends for 2011 is the maxi skirt!!

This is one of my fave trends! [Yes, I do like to show some skin every now & then.] And I'm glad it's making a comeback this year, because last year it wasn't very very popular..

How to wear it: Pair it with a loose fitting tee/top/sweater and an extreme wedge! I've also worn a maxi dress in a tomboy-ish style with Chucks, a plaid shirt tied at the waist, and a beanie! And I like to wear a maxi skirt with a close fitting sheer turtleneck, a sweater vest, and black lace up booties!

DIY. Feather Skirt

Don't you hate paying so much for trendy items sometimes?? I know I do because before you know it, the trend'll go away when you've only worn the item say once or twice!

I got an email from Who What Wear on a DIY project for feather skirts. And I think it's quite awesome because I'm already looking for [ostrich] feather trim to create one pretty soon!

Normally I prob'ly wouldn't care but I was digging the knickers used in one of the outfits in the email: Cashmere pants with suspenders.

iKnow its a small pic, but iWanted y'all to get the idea. its abercrombie and it's range of patterns for plaid shirts. iNever saw so many at the same time in my life [haha]. so go out to your local abercrombie and cop you one or two.

and pair them with a nice pair of dark [like these nudie average joe dry heavy] or light wash [levi's low skinny 531 erin] jeans, or some deconstructs [william rast sadie straight leg jupiter wash].

and you can not forget my fav item this coming season: cowboy/western boots.

hey evryone, iForgot to mention [although iDid so on twitter] that there is this website with which iHave recenetly fallen in love with [esp when i'm bored and on some down time]. its Looklet. and its great for those of us that like playing with fashion and making up outfits before they are bought, and ready to be put on.

its almost like paper dolls, only WAYYY better. there are some glitches that they can improve on, but regardless this is great. you can creat outfits and save them to your page, and like other users and their outfits.
