Whoa, looks like i gotta be careful now

i got anemail from blogger talking about "certain content in your blog infringes upon the copyrights of others" pertaining to my post about lil wayne's song prom queen. so yeah, that post was deleted, and doesnt exist anymore! lol. i dont really care too much though, because i didnt even like the song. well i gonna try to watch a couple movies right now, cuz i'm not feeling too good. wat r u doin? = ]

thought i'd start sharing some recipes with y'all. this one is simple, and can be made within 10 minutes.

HOT COLLARD SLAW

Ingredients [Conversion chart]
1/4 cup(s) olive oil
2 tablespoon(s) cider vinegar
2 tablespoon(s) whole-grain mustard
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
1/2 teaspoon(s) fresh-ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon(s) pepper
1 clove(s) garlic, crushed
16 cup(s) collard greens, washed, dried, and cut horizontally into 3/4-inch strips
1/2 pound(s) thick-cut bacon, cut into 1/2-inch strips, cooked


Directions
1. In a small bowl, combine 3 tablespoons olive oil, vinegar, mustard, salt, pepper, and sugar and set aside. In a large saucepan over medium high heat, heat remaining olive oil.
2. Add garlic clove and the greens and sauté until tender--5 to 6 minutes. Add the vinegar mixture and toss to distribute evenly.
3. Transfer to a serving dish, top with bacon pieces, and serve immediately.

well, i thought i'd share some techniques with you guys. today: sugar hand scrub. i use this usually before i do my nails, to soften my hands and cuticles. it can be done weekly, or a couple times throughout the week to create softer hands.

recipe 1
1/4 cup of sugar
about 3 tablespoons olive oil

recipe 2
1/4 cup of sugar
lotion, typical amount that you may use to lotion hands and forearm


now, mix both ingredients, regardless of which recipe you're using, until evenly mixed. or mix in the palm of your hands. rub into hands, inside and out, for about two minutes, or until the sugar has totally dissolved. rinse off hands, and notice the smoothness of your hands!

this scrub is for both males and females, so guys, don't hesitate to try this every now and then.

okay, so generation change has stepped into office...what are you gonna do to be a part of it? what am i gonna do? idk yet, just live life, and live it to be useful to my environment. well, it's that time again, every 4 years when the new president takes office. nov 4, 2008, america did something unbelievable and great: electing the first african-american president. we now have an ethnic president: wow! i still can't believe it, and it wasn't even the black people that got him into office, because they're only about 13% of u.s. population. crazy! i just thought that i'd share the official presidential portrait. [and guess what? it's the first to be taken with a digital camera! lol]

so, how many of you went to see notorious last night? i did, even though we were like 10 min into the movie late, because it was sold out, and it just so happened that 5 people returned their tickets [too bad for them].

i'm not going to lie. the movie wasnt all it was hyped to be. it wasn't bad, but it wasnt the best i've seen. the main problem i saw with it was all the things that were socially chronologically incorrect. maybe you dont understand what i'm saying. people were NOT driving 2008 hummer h3s in 1995! LOL, seriously.idk if they were in a rush to release the movie, or what. but i'm sure that there was enough money to get whips that did belong in the 1995 era. c'mon! did anyone not notice that? even the clothing the characters wore weren't all chronologically correct. seriously, watch the movie, then watch some of b.i.g.'s music videos, or look at sme of your throwback pics. peep some of the minor errors. i also know that the film was rated r but i wonder how naturi, who played lil kim, feels being nude in certain scenes! but yeah, all in all, it was anokay movie. and if yo haven't seen it, go ahead and find out where it's playing near you! ttyl

yeah, i know. but i have been trying to get settled back at school. figure out which classes i wanna keep, which ones to drop? well, i think i'm gonna keep all the ones i already scheduled, but my advisor thinks i should drop one.... hmmm, we'll see, i dont think i should however.... i will def try to keep updated
