No, I don't have anything against my current friends really. I just think I need some more NEW friends, prefereably more male friends. I have male friends, not enough though, and none that I'm very close too..
So, please include the following in your application!
Lol, I wish I would actually give someone an application to be my friend smh. But you gotta pick your friends wisely. Some are fake, some aren't great friends; you gotta know their history and stuff.
But what if it really came to this, having to put in an app to be friends with someone? Or even be in a relationship?

Shoe-gasm
I think I have a liking for Badgley Mischka shoes!
Idk what it is, I just find them elegant and lovely. The ones I've come across, I imagine myself wearing them to a wedding, or some sort of other formal function.
I found this Lissa pair on Piperlime, and I'm loving it in gold.
I'm really picturing this shoe with a navy/royal blue gown..
It also comes in gray and white. It make a perfect bridal shoe for someone...

I like to play with makeup sometimes... I remember doing my friend's makeup for halloween two years ago. We did some cheetah spots on her cheeks and eyebrows. It was quite cute..
But yeah, I think I may try this soon, it's cute. I don't have a lot of makeup products but I suppose what'll be need is some primer, pigment and lip paint or an eye pencil...

Sweet Corn Salsa
The other night I had to scour my fridge for something to eat! I ended up making together a lil' meal of broiled tilapia, yellow rice, a biscuit and a side of corn.
I had to spice up the corn in some kinda way so, I whipped up what I call 'Sweet Corn Salsa' :)
Ingredients:
I had to spice up the corn in some kinda way so, I whipped up what I call 'Sweet Corn Salsa' :)
Ingredients:
- about 1c corn (I used frozen)
- 3tbsp sugar
- 3 strips of bacon
- 1 spring onion
- 1tbsp butter
1. Set oven broiler to 350 degrees. Place bacon on a shallow pan and put in oven when warm.
2. Boil 1c of water, then add the corn.
3. Chop spring onion.
4. Add sugar and butter to corn, and stir.
5. Remove bacon, 5mins after it starts popping. Chop, and add to corn, along with spring onion.
6. Stir and remove from heat.
Tada!
*Feel free to use fresh corn off the cob! You can also add more butter and sugar, as you like, I just prefer not to overdo it ;D
ENJOY!

DIY. Disco Earrings
Here's another great D.I.Y. project from P.S. I Made This via my daily Who What Wear emails.
Disco earrings inspired by those on the Chanel S/S 2011 runway.
You can easily purchase some already-been-made earrings with preices ranging up to over 1,000$ ! But why not get crafty and spare some change to make some of your own, and with your own style!
View instructions here. And have fun!

DIY. Half Moon Mani
I've done a post on half moon/ruffian manicures before, but this time I thought I'd post a tutorial [link].
A friend asked how I did mine, so I thought this would be helpful to others as well...

Here's a picture of my nails from a couple weeks ago.
Another thing to do is Youtube 'half moon manicures' and there are lots of tutorials on how to do them.

Shoe Game
These are the Pierre Dumas Carolina 3, and only do a little damage of 65$!
Ok, so reasons why I like this shoe:
- They're definitely gonna give me a little height with the 4" heel [I'll be about 5'9" lol];
- They're simple yet a bit sexy ;) with the crossover strap and peeptoe;
- And the crossocer strap is the deal breaker for me! I got the fat/wide foot gene, which always discourages me from buying shoes alot cause I am really self-conscious about how my feet look...
So yeah, these are definitely on my list of things to get soon. And I can't wait to pull them out in the spring and summer times, they'll def be a look for an outfit to a wedding, friend's graduation and more in 2011!!
Get them here!
