Here Comes the Bride

So I may have a bit of wedding fever. One of my friends got engaged recently, and she's planning for a May 2012 wedding! Who doesn't love weddings though?? We love them for different reasons, whether it be getting to play dress up or scouting and meeting a future husband/wife, or if you're African, you're going for the food, whether or not you know the bride or groom.

Anyways, here are some of my picks from different 2011/Spring 2012 bridal lines:

Vera Wang. If you've seen Bride Wars, you know Vera is the way to go.

Balmain Men's SS 2012

I've probably mentioned before that Balmain is one of my favorite, if not favorite, designers. I love the way that designers behind the name always give a rock n roll edge to the pieces. At least, that's for the women's line; I have never ventured to the men's line, until this week.

So! I found the Balmain SS '12 Men's lookbook on Selectism, a sister/brother site to HighSnobiety, and I was just loving the laid-backism of the collection.I took a particular liking to the jackets, which are structured and tailored quite nicely. They're dressed down in the lookbook, but I can def see them pair with a dressier outfit.

Mmmmm yes. Let me see a man wearing one of these pieces! Oh gawd!

DIY style: I'm gonna see if I can find a similar necklace, and spray paint the bottom half. P.S. I made this style.

Law & Order

You can't say that you haven't watched any one episodes in the Law & Order family and did not enjoy it.

I myself am a Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (SVU) fan, was an avid Law & Order watcher, and recently, caught Law & Order: L.A. (LOLA) from time to time; although I have to say, that Law & Order: Criminal Intent, which moved to USA, just didn't catch onto me.

As you know, tumblr has become an obsession. [BUT I can refrain! I hadn't "trolled" for like two days, till today!] But, I'm back! with a post :)

Now, I like this bag because it is versatile. I'm thinking this will go great with a casual 'fit, eg. loose tee, and cargo skinnies most likely i nmy fave color of olive. And I'm imagining it as a work bag as well, for those of us that like to take our style to work! Eg. nice khaki pantsuit, while toting your purse must-haves. It looks like it may even fit a 13" Macbook?
